Southern Arizona Senior Pride is invested in empowering all LGBTQI+ older adults. We desire to claim all of the incredible diversity within our community. We are richer when all voices are heard, all cultures are respected and enjoyed, and all of us contribute to the well-being of each other individually and collectively. Resilience in our community is profoundly influenced by a sense of belonging. In a world where we are rejected, left out and invisible, belonging enables us to survive, find meaning and thrive.

Historically, entire groups of people have not considered Senior Pride an organization that serves their unique needs, experience and culture. We will not be complicit in the falsehoods that white, young, cis-gendered, educated, wealthy, people without disabilities, and men are more valuable and superior. We will strive to divest from these falsehoods and invest in the wealth of the valuable diversity that more honestly defines our society.

Senior Pride is committed to inclusion, diversity, equity and access. We reach out, invite, embrace and build trust with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. Join us. Your voice, collaboration and investment ensure our success in the community.

Southern Arizona Senior Pride administers its employment practices, volunteer opportunities, programs and services without discrimination against anyone on the basis of actual or perceived race, ethnicity, color, ancestry, national origin, age, economic circumstances, occupation, religion, mental or physical disability, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity (including gender nonconformity and status as a transgender individual), gender expression, language, genetic information, marital status, familial status (including pregnancy and phases of parenthood), physical characteristics or appearance, citizenship status, military status (past, current or prospective service in the armed forces), or any other status prohibited by applicable law.
