How is your hearing?  Do you struggle with hearing loss? Do you have hearing aids? How is your balance? Join us to learn about changes to your hearing as you age, and to have your questions about hearing loss answered.

Diane E. Smith, Au.D., CCC-A is an Audiology Clinical Instructor in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at UA. Dr. Smith came to the audiology profession along a non-traditional path. She served ten years in the United States Air Force, starting out as an enlisted Intelligence Analyst before she was later selected to earn her commissioning and served as an Intelligence Officer. During her service, Dr. Smith deployed three times to Iraq and Afghanistan, providing intelligence support to coalition and NATO forces. Her service finally led her to Davis Monthan AFB (Tucson, AZ) where she completed her military tenure and began a new professional journey in audiology.
