Senior Pride Book Group

The Senior Pride Book Group meets monthly to enjoy books and companionship!

Third Wednesday of every month, 2-3:30pm
NEXT: Wed, Mar 21, 2-3:30pm

Our April meeting date: April 18

We have decided to select books by LGBTQ authors and the first such choice on February 21 is Everywhere Home by Fenton Johnson, one of the LGBTQ authors to be featured at the upcoming Tucson Festival of Books. Everywhere Home is a collection of essays bearing witness to the possibility of progress—especially in terms of gay rights. Johnson, professor of creative writing in the English Department at the University of Arizona, has written several novels and non-fiction books as well as many essays for publications including Harper’s Magazine and the New York Times.
