THE LOFT CINEMA
3233 East Speedway Boulevard
Now more than ever, citizens of our country are grappling with how to interact with the “other side.” Our current crisis in polarization is leading to mistrust, anger and alienation. It threatens the very fabric of our democracy.
Tucson is leading the way for the country in showing how civility brings out the best in us and how it transforms the way we live and connect with each other.
Mayor Rothschild has signed a Proclamation declaring May 2017 as Tucson’s Revive Civility Month. The Mayor, in partnership with the League of Women’s Voters of Greater Tucson, Ben’s Bells, and the University of Arizona’s National Institute for Civil Discourse (NICD) is inviting the community to engage in activities to promote civility throughout Tucson.
Come to The Loft Cinema on Thursday to learn and discuss how we can revive civility together–to make our community a better place to live, and to lead the way for our nation.
