Honoring a Life

June 12 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

ADVANCE MEDICAL CARE PLANNING WORKSHOPS

If you haven’t yet attended one of our workshops for LGBTQI+ older adults to properly plan for medical care and end of life needs, you really should before you need it!

We cover easy-to-complete yet very important documents to ensure your health care wishes are recorded and even that your identity as a LGBTQI+ individual is protected. By taking these steps now, you can help prevent any unnecessary stress on your loved ones if you are seriously ill or injured.

Senior Pride’s Honoring a Life Workshop helps you make and document decisions about your future healthcare preferences. In this workshop you will learn about, and begin to prepare, your Medical Power of Attorney, Advance Directives, and other important care planning documents.

We’ll also discuss how to ensure these documents are readily available when needed, and about choosing a person to be your representative.

To ensure enough materials, all attendees need to register by clicking the blue button above at least one week prior to the workshop.

This month the in-person location will be at Harmony Community Healthcare.
