Senior Pride LGBTQ and Allies Book Club

Senior Pride Book Club

Enjoy companionship and engage in lively discussion of a wide variety of books! Our group is diverse and welcomes all who share our interest in reading books and talking about them.

We meet 3rd Wednesday of the month, 2-3:30pm.
Before the Coronavirus pandemic, we were meeting in the Ward 3 Council Office conference room. We hope to be meeting there again, as soon as we may safely do so. In the meantime, we will be meeting via video conferencing, using Zoom. For the Zoom info you’ll need to join the meeting, email or call 520-312-8923.

NEXT MEETING
WED, OCT 21, 2-3:30pm

Our reading selection for October will be At the Center of All Beauty: Solitude and the Creative Life by National award-winning author, and friend of Senior Pride, Fenton Johnson. This book is described as “a profound meditation on accepting, and celebrating, one’s solitude” … perhaps the ideal teaching for many of us as we grapple with the extended quarantine of the COVID era. We are pleased to announce that Fenton will be joining the discussion, which will be led by Tom Buchanan.

Coordinated by Les Tannenbaum
